Dealing with Change 1

Change is omnipresent. Change is what prevents the world from becoming dormant and stagnant. It is one of the major influencers behind growth.

Not everything is, or will become, controlled by you. Many things will not have the potential to be controlled by you simply because you are you; and there will also be many other things that will have the potential to be controlled by you simply because you are you. Some things will go according to plan while others will not. You will not always be the factor that will decide how things will change. Many things will happen to you without your consent.

When change occurs, you have the power to decide whether this change is positive or negative. You can do this by choosing how you react to the change. You decide how you view things. The change doesn’t have to be bad—it doesn’t even have to be good. You can choose to view it in a neutral and unassuming way, enough to leave yourself open for the change you desire later on.

When a seemingly negative change happens in your life, do not revolt by closing the doors it opens. Remain neutral and calm. Revise the situation in different lights. Remain open for more change and shifts to occur. Life is about shifts and changes.

You are the product of change. You are who you are today because of change; and you can also become who you want to be because of change. Change is both a healer and a destroyer, and you have the power to choose which one it becomes for you.
